Direct Thermal Labels

Direct thermal labels are printed using chemically treated, heat-sensitive material that darkens when it passes under the printhead. Direct thermal printing produces sharp print quality with good scannability, and is ideal for applications requiring only a short lifespan.

Direct thermal printers are simple to operate compared to most other print technologies because there is no ink, toner or ribbon to monitor or replenish. As a result, maintenance costs are low.
